City Manager

David Deitch serves as the City Manager. The City Manager is appointed by the Niceville City Council. As the chief executive officer of the municipality, he is responsible for the daily operations and administration of city services. This role requires a dynamic leader who possesses a strong understanding of local government, community needs, and strategic planning. The City Manager implements policies set by the Council, oversees city departments, manages budgets, and ensures the efficient delivery of services to residents. 

City Clerk

Wendy Farmer serves as the City Clerk for the City of Niceville, Florida. The City Clerk is appointed by the Niceville City Council. In her role, she is responsible for record management, public notices, and administrative tasks related to city meetings, agendas, and minutes. Additionally, as the Records Liaison Management Officer (RMLO), the City Clerk oversees all public records requests.

Elections

City elections occur biennially on the second Tuesday in March (i.e., 2025, 2027, etc.).
