Donate to the Friends

The Friends of the Niceville Library is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Generous donations from library supporters help to fund special projects and programs for the Niceville Public Library. To make a monetary donation, please mail a check in your desired amount to:

Please make checks payable to "Friends of the Niceville Library" and write "Donation" in the memo section.

Donors will receive a "Thank You" card from the Friends that can be used for income tax purposes.

For donations in memory or honor of a loved one, please include a note with their name and contact information so that the Friends can notify the family.


Donate your gently-used, like-new books, magazines, puzzles, DVDs and CDs to the Friends of the Library. Items are evaluated and either added to the Library's collection, sold in the Friends Bookstore, or sold at Friends Book Sales.

Items not accepted:

  • 8-tracks, records or cassette tapes
  • Encyclopedias
  • Textbooks or computer books more than three years old
  • Condensed books
  • VHS tapes
  • Copied discs or tapes
  • Magazines more than three years old
