Material not owned by the Niceville Public Library or other OCPLC member libraries may be obtained from outside of our County system through the Interlibrary Loan program if the publication date is more than six months old.
This service allows us to request items from participating libraries across the country. If a willing lender is found, the item will be delivered to our library for you to pick up. Return the item to us, and we will send it back.
Loan Period: The due date for each item is set by the lending library
Renewals: Requests for renewal should be made at least five days before the item due date. Renewals are not guaranteed. The lending library will determine if your renewal is granted.
The lending library sets the value of the item if it is lost or damaged. Items borrowed via Interlibrary Loan are subject to recall at any time by the lender.
Please keep in mind that it usually takes 1-3 weeks to receive the requested material. You are limited to five (5) Interlibrary Loan requests at one time.
An active Okaloosa library card in good standing is required for this service.
Contact the Library for more details.
