Exam Proctoring

As part of our mission to help all in their educational endeavors, the Niceville Public Library offers free proctoring services.  The following outlines our policies for usage of this service:

• Please contact us at least two weeks in advance to determine if an exam proctor will be able to accommodate your request.
• The proctor is not responsible for initializing contact with the student’s school to verify scheduling an exam time or reminding students of exam times.  Students are accountable for all school liaisons and communication.
• It is the student’s responsibility to have his/her school send all needed information to the proctor prior to scheduling an exam.
• The library will not be responsible for postage or other shipping costs if needed.  Students must provide postage and suitably sized envelopes for mailed exams.
• Scantrons, calculators and other test provisions are the student’s responsibility.

It is recommended that the student test our facilities and computers for compatibility issues before the scheduled exam.  All information on computer compatibility must be sent to the proctor as soon as possible.
