Requests for public records or police reports can be made in person, by phone, fax or by email. Most records are provided free of charge but for those requiring extensive research and/or lengthy requests, there may be an hourly fee charged, as well as a fee per page. When submitting a request, please be specific with the information you need in order for us to accurately obtain your record request. (i.e. Case numbers, dates or a date range, addresses, names, etc.) Once the request has been received, our office will contact you to let you know how long the request can take and if there is a fee.
Under Florida law (668.6076), e‐mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e‐mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
