How do the pickleball courts operate? Are they accessible to the general public or exclusively for Senior Center members?
Here's the breakdown: We have two sets of courts, with the ones closest to the front door comprising of 2 courts. These courts are open to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The other set of courts consists of 3 courts, and they are exclusively reserved for Senior Center members during our operating hours, which are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Senior Center members must check in at the registration desk and enter the building to access these courts during the specified hours. However, outside of our operating hours, these courts are also available to the general public.
For Senior Center members who are new to pickleball, we provide paddles and balls that can be borrowed at the reception desk, allowing them to give it a try!
Additionally, we offer lessons for members on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Beginner lessons are held at 1:00 p.m., while intermediate lessons take place at 2:00 p.m.
