Dr. Brian Rucker: Worlds Within the World

Disney Resorts have played a major role in the evolution of Walt Disney World since its opening over fifty years ago. Author Brian Rucker will explore these “Worlds Within the World” during this free program accentuated by an extensive and fun PowerPoint presentation. Dr. Rucker is a 7th-generation Floridian who earned his Ph.D. in history from FSU and has authored over 50 books and articles related to the Panhandle. He teaches history at PSC and a course on the history of the Florida Panhandle at UWF. He is currently President of the Gulf South Historical Association.
This free event is part of the Niceville Library's 2023 Summer Reading Program and is presented by the library and its Friends organization.
