Dr. Brian Rucker: Worlds Within the World

Disney Resorts have played a major role in the evolution of Walt Disney World since its opening over fifty years ago. Author Brian Rucker will explore these “Worlds Within the World” during this free program accentuated by an extensive and fun PowerPoint presentation.  Dr. Rucker is a 7th-generation Floridian who earned his Ph.D. in history from FSU and has authored over 50 books and articles related to the Florida Panhandle. He teaches history at Pensacola State College and a course on the history of the Panhandle at the University of West Florida. He is currently President of the Gulf South Historical Association.

This free event is presented by the Niceville Public Library and Friends of the Niceville Library as part of the 2023 Summer Reading Program.
