Variety of books, movies, programs - something for everyone!

Raising Readers: Preschool Storytime
Inspire your future reader at our preschool story time. Join us for exciting stories selected just for children ages 3-5 years old. Programs will be held in Youth Services program room on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 a.m.

Baby Bookworms: Prewalkers and Walkers
This lapsit program consists of music, stories and rhymes especially chosen to build the bond between you and your child. The program is suited for children from birth to age 3. Please meet in YS program room on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month; 9:30 Prewalkers, 10:30 Walkers

Afterschool Program: Ages 6+
This program is for children ages 6-12 and will be held the 2nd Tuesday of each month in the YS program room from 4:15-5:30 p.m. Fun, entertaining and hands on topics will be presented monthly. Space is limited so registration is required.

American Girls Book Club
This club is for girls ages 7& up and meets the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:30-11:00 in the YS program room. . The program will include book discussion, activities, and refreshments. To insure we have ample supplies for everyone, please register each month.

Dear America Book Club
This club is for girls ages 9+ and held the 3rd Saturday of every month from 11:30a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the YS program room. Each book features a different character, time period and a historical life event. Please register each month in YS or call to reserve your seat.

All library programs are free. You may sign up in Youth Services or call 279-4863 x1514

Make your child's library experience a more enjoyable and safe one by following these guidelines:

1. Parents or guardians must stay with their children in Youth Services.
2. While in the library, please teach your child to walk and talk quietly.
3. Food or drink should be left outside the library.
4. Please sign in for computer use and limit to 30 minutes.
5. Leave your books on the cart, tables or countertops if you decide not to check them out.
6. If your child is crying or disturbing others, please be considerate and remove him/her from the library until he/she is calm.
7. For your child's safety as well as others, no running, jumping or standing on the furniture.
